Close to the archaeological area of Col Prejano, this is the real Umbrian rural house, made of stone, wood and terracotta, surrounded by rows of sour cherry trees, where you wake up in the morning to the cock crowing.

Immersed in the uncontaminated nature of the Carpina Valley and the Pietralunga Forest, La Balucca is structured for the accommodation of small groups in 10 rooms with private bathroom, each furnished in arte povera style, equipped with mosquito nets and a fan, and named after a local shrub.

A large, characteristic lounge with a fireplace restores the atmosphere of times gone by, while a modern multi-purpose room for indoor activities (table tennis, table football, TV, etc.) cheers up rainy days.

The Balucca is a pleasant centre for active holidays in the countryside: an ideal destination for hikers, cyclists and pilgrims, as well as small groups practising yoga, meditation, traditional singing and dancing.

Furthermore, in collaboration with the outdoor ecology workshops of the adjacent La Cerqua Educational Farm, it offers guided tours to school classes of all levels, and organises green weeks for groups of children aged 7 to 12 in the summer.

Particular attention is paid to accessibility, with facilities suitable for the disabled. Small four-legged friends are also welcome.
